The Canadian Journal of Surgery has been publishing a series of articles entitled "The Users' Guide to the Surgical Literature". The series is modelled after the JAMA article series on Evidence Based Medicine. Links to all of the full-text articles are available on our web site.

CINAHL is now available on EBSCOhost. EBSCOhost offers improved functionality such as the ability to preview an article or image by mouseover and URLs that can be bookmarked. Also very helpful is the Cite function which shows how to cite a reference in several formats such as AMA, APA, and Chicago/Turabian.

If you use Google Scholar or Google Advanced Search, you may want to take advantage of a new feature whereby you can link to the full-text of the Sladen journal article from the Google display. Look for the "Find It @ Sladen" link at the bottom of the Google display after you do your initial search. This feature works at all HFHS computers.
